Tammy Heinz, MS, Advanced Level WRAP Facilitator, is a mental health professional and person with lived experience who has worked in the field for more than 25 years. She has relied on her own Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) for over two decades and loves finding creative ways to integrate WRAP with other tools—to make recovery practical and personal. For the past 16+ years, Tammy has served as a senior program officer and consumer & family liaison at the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health, where she works to ensure that lived experience shapes programs and policies. She also launched PeerFest, a Texas event for peers by peers. Tammy has shared insights nationally and internationally on peer support, recovery, resilience, and rural mental health. She believes every voice matters and brings energy, hope, and real-world strategies to help people create lives they love.
