Raquel Rosa has a lifelong connection & commitment to the disability community, beginning with family. Her career as an advocate is rooted in direct support, having served adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities in home & community-based settings for over a decade. Since then, she served as an advisor to self-advocates in Washington, DC, and on the national level; contributed to several federally funded grants; & currently provides technical assistance to the national protection & advocacy network. Raquel earned her BA in Disability Studies from the City University of New York and her MS in Nonprofit Management from Our Lady of the Lake University.
